Paying rent can feel like a hassle, especially if you have to pay it by cash or check. As a tenant, if you don’t carry cash on you, it can feel inconvenient to have to make a trip to the bank every month to potentially wait in a long line in order to withdraw money for your rent payment. In the same way, writing out a check and having to arrange to get it to your landlord can also feel like an inconvenience, especially if your landlord doesn’t live on the property or has a busy schedule.
